It is a spindle with an EN 31 alloy (bearing steel) blade, an LM 6 aluminum plug and an EN 24 alloy wharve. Jaylaxmi supplies it for manual doffing and auto doffing ring spinning frames, with wharve diameters of 18.5 to 22 mm.
A Rabbeth (bare blade) spindle has an EN 31 alloy blade and an EN 24 alloy wharve without an aluminum plug. Jaylaxmi lists speeds of up to 22,000 rpm for this type.
Spindles are supplied for HF-1, HF-21, HF-100, CS1 and CS21 inserts (bolsters) and for ring diameters of 38, 40, 42, 45 and 48 mm. Inserts are supplied from Texpart, SKF (Teraspin), Novibra or Jaylaxmi.
